Readiness for Change
What is this?
This handout provides the reader with an overview of readiness, its importance, principles, and steps that leaders can take to nurture readiness.
Why is this important?
Familiarity with the concept of readiness, as well as a working knowledge and ability to assess for its components undergirds successful implementation efforts. Without attending to readiness, change efforts can be stalled due to organizational members lacking psychological and/or technical components of feeling ready to help make change happen.
