Implementation Driver’s Assessment for Residential Redesign in North Carolina (IDA-RRD)

What is this?

The Implementation Drivers Assessment- Residential Redesign (IDA-RRD) was adapted from the Implementation Drivers Assessment -Triple P (IDA-TP) and a more generic implementation drivers assessment. It serves as a measure of how well Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTFs) support the combined application of principles from the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) and the Six Core Strategies for Reducing Seclusions and Restraint. The IDA-RRD includes seven individual indices reflecting aspects of implementation infrastructure and best practice that are believed to contribute to the overall level of implementation observed in an agency.

Why is this important?

Assessing progress in each of the areas covered by each index at regular intervals can support leadership and implementation teams in their efforts to increase overall implementation capacity and to track and monitor their agency’s progress towards full implementation.
